Birds Love Solar Panels
Having solar panels is an investment for our homes as it can save you money on electricity prices and also is great for the environment but what happens if you get pesky birds making their home under your solar panels and why do they love our solar panels so much.
Birds love being at the highest point due to being protected from various animals and wildlife, stalking of their food source and you have just now made a shelter for the birds to make their nest and keep warm.
With birds roosting up on your solar panels and underneath they are making your solar panels work less efficient therefore you really are not saving money by having the solar panels there.
Along with the birds come their nonsense with louds chirping, bird debris, bird poop, lice and guess what loves all of this? Rodents, so on top of birds you will get rodents which can lead to electoral wiring being chewed through.
A build-up of bird poop which can corrode your solar panels and roof tiles and nesting debris can cause your solar panels to run less efficiently as there is restricted airflow through your solar panels.
Did you know that if we experience heavy rainfall then all the nesting debris and poop will slide down to the guttering system and therefore causes blockages in the guttering system which then will cause further issues for you and your property.

What are the most common birds that you need to proof your solar panels against?
How Redline Pest Control will bird proof your solar panels for you!
Redline Pest Control will supply and install galvanised bird proofing mesh to the perimeter of your solar panels to ensure that birds, birds nesting debris, rodents and leaf matter will not get underneath your solar panels.
Galvanised bird proofing mesh is made from a robust hot dipped galvanised mesh to ensure overall strength and protection to all your solar panel system.
The Galvanised bird mesh is attached to the edges of your solar panels using a special clipping system, this allows for the galvanised bird mesh to be attached to your solar panels without having to drill, screw or apply any adhesives to your solar panels.
Once the galvanised bird mesh has been installed these clips can then be unclipped should any access/maintenance needs to be carried out to your solar panels.
Once the galvanised bird mesh has been carried out it is designed to prevent birds, rodents and leaf debris from being able to enter or nest underneath your solar panels.
Prior to the installation of the galvanised bird mesh, all live/dead birds will need to be removed from under your solar panels.
Redline Pest Control will carry out a complimentary bird lice treatment to the roof void area of your home.
